Reliant SAFEHealth - Connecting Personal Health Devices

Reliant Medical Group patients can use the SAFEHealth app to connect your personal health monitoring devices to your healthcare team. Discuss with your healthcare provider about whether this would be helpful to you. To learn more about Reliant Medical Group, click here. If appropriate, your healthcare provider will place an order to connect to your home scale, blood pressure monitor, thermometer, pulse oximeter, activity monitor, or other similar device. Many devices can connect using the SAFEHealth app. Currently, devices that connect to Google Fit, iHealth, or the Withings Health Mate app can be connected using SAFEHealth. Note that Google Fit is available for both Android and Apple iOS devices. Also, FitBit devices can connect to Google Fit on Android devices using the FitToFit app, while on Apple iOS, devices can connect using Apple's HealthKit which comes standard with Apple iOS devices. After entering a secret code given to you by your healthcare provider, your device's readings that you authorize will automatically and securely be copied into your electronic health record at Reliant Medical Group. This information will allow your healthcare team to provide better, safer and more convenient care for you. And if you use MyChart, you will be able to see your results there as well.
